How we work together

Start small. Four fixed formats.

The biggest questions start with a conversation. But sometimes you want something contained first: a format with a clear outcome, a fixed price and a date in the diary. That is why I offer four fixed formats, from a one-hour keynote to an ongoing sparring retainer. None of them asks for a big commitment. Each is a logical place to start.

01Keynote

The side of AI most presentations skip, in a keynote

Forty-five minutes to an hour and a half, for the board, the newsroom or the whole organisation. The smallest commitment, often the start of something bigger.

Fixed price, clear upfront.

What it is

A keynote on what AI does and does not change, with judgement rather than hype. Not a product demo, but the questions underneath: what do you automate, what do you protect, and why AI rarely fails on technology and usually on strategy, culture and leadership.

What you get

An intake beforehand, examples from your own world, the keynote itself and room for conversation afterwards. Recurring topics: embracing AI without losing your soul, the opportunities of AI in your strategy, and from pilots to practice.

Who it's for

A management day, conference or internal session where the AI conversation needs to go beyond the demo.

02AI inspiration day

From wait-and-see to trying it yourself, in one day

A day that inspires and produces something: in the morning you see what is possible, in the afternoon you get hands-on with your own work.

Fixed price, clear upfront.

What it is

A day on site, for up to around thirty participants. The morning takes AI out of the hype: what it can really do, with live demos on your own work. The afternoon is hands-on: working in groups on use cases from your own practice, so everyone goes home with something that works.

What you get

An intake and preparation tailored to your practice, the day itself, and afterwards a harvest memo with the use cases the day produced. The immediate starting point for the next step.

Who it's for

Organisations where AI is still mostly conversation and not yet practice. Teams that need a shared starting point.

03AI scan

Where AI delivers value in your organisation, pinned down in three weeks

A compact review that ends in advice the board can act on.

Fixed price, clear upfront, fully credited against any follow-up engagement.

What it is

An intake, a day on site with conversations with key players and a walk through the work, followed by my analysis. Not a survey or a tool inventory, but a strategic view: where the value sits, where the risk sits, and what the logical order is.

What you get

An advisory memo (where the organisation stands, the three biggest opportunities and the outline of a roadmap) plus a feedback session with the board or management team. Turnaround: two to three weeks.

Who it's for

Boards that sense something has to happen, but want a sharp picture before they invest big.

04Sparring partner

AI and strategy sparring partner for the board, ongoing

For when you don't need an agency, just someone to think things through with.

Fixed monthly fee, renewable per quarter, no annual contract.

What it is

Two fixed sessions a month where we work through your choices, doubts and opportunities, with quick access in between. Plus a one-page signal every month: what happened in AI and what it means for you.

What you get

A fixed point of contact at board level, without bringing in an agency. Continuity after a scan, a programme or an inspiration day, or simply as a standing thinking partner.

Who it's for

Boards and management teams that don't want to outsource the AI question, but don't want to face it alone either.

Do you have a bigger question? Then we start with a conversation.

Every format above has a fixed price you know in advance. Ask for it and I will send it straight away. For programmes and larger engagements: plan an introduction.
